One of my favorite bands has a new EP out. They've run on hard times with record labels, so they're putting out the high quality mp3s directly online. They've also got a myspace site if you want to hear a bit.

Anyone that knows me at all knows that I am not too happy when it comes to heights. Anyone that knows my wife at all knows that, though she be quiet, she has a flair for the dramatic, and wants to get as close to 'it' (whatever 'it' may be: a coast, a leaning rock, the edge of a cliff...) as possible. If you're curious, the above picture is, in fact, me at the top of a good 50 ft. cliff. My lovely wife is taking the picture from the top of a neighboring 50 ft. cliff that is only marginally less scary than the one on which I am standing.
Since being in Scotland, I have climbed up a rock face to stand next to a big leaning rock, trapaised across a bridge that spans, and now this. When our big trip to Ireland occurs, I am told that these two locations will be on the agenda.
I am sure that I am trading amazing photographs for years of my life...but so far, it's been worth it.

So now that my blog is working again, I'm really itching to write something. I got our car worked on this morning. When we arrived, we were informed that our little white micra hadn't had the oil changed in a while, and that the brakes were starting to make noise, and that the suspension was getting a bit bouncy. We really appreciated that the guy took such good care of the car for us. But hey, it got all around the north and west parts of Scotland. We're such procrastinators when it comes to straightening up things that we own. The flat is also getting cleaned this weekend, after about three weeks of letting it ride. We've been really busy, and it's just far too easy to sit around and let crap accumulate while watching Scrubs and American Idol.
In other news, Val went back to her regular office today. I actually looked over at her seat in passing this past week, and almost winked at Stuart the Dutch polymers guy that took over her desk.

I have an eye infection. At first it just felt like a mild pain in my eye, like an eyelash got stuck or something. But the next day it was a bit swollen and droopy. Fun times.

Well, this is my one-hundredth post on this blog, and with that, I'll announce that I will soon be changing over to an rmfo-blog. If you don't know what that is, then you're missing out.
